Thermage FLX, from Solta Medical in the U.S., is the benchmark monopolar radiofrequency platform for skin tightening. Now in its fifth generation, it remains a signature treatment at leading clinics worldwide — one session that heats large areas evenly, rather than a course you have to keep returning for.
FLX delivers 6.78 MHz monopolar RF volumetrically into the collagen-rich dermis and fibrous septae: existing collagen contracts with the heat, and new collagen remodels over the following months. Cryogen cooling before, during and after every pulse keeps the surface cool while the deep layers heat — a reverse thermal gradient that balances depth with surface protection. The Total Tip 4.0 cm² covers more area and treats about 25% faster than the previous generation (manufacturer figures), and AccuREP™ technology reads your skin impedance with every pulse and fine-tunes the energy automatically — calibrated to your skin, not one-size-fits-all. Vibration combined with cooling (Comfort Pulse Technology) makes the warmth easier to tolerate.
Dedicated tips cover the face, the delicate eye area (Eye Tip 0.25 cm²) and body areas such as the abdomen, arms, thighs and buttocks (Body Tip 16.0 cm²), all through a single handpiece with no swapping mid-treatment. Most people complete their plan in a single session, with no downtime.
