Sylfirm X RF Microneedling

About this device
Sylfirm X, developed in Korea and distributed in North America by BENEV, is the world's first dual-wave RF microneedling system. Where conventional RF microneedling offers only a continuous wave, Sylfirm X adds a pulsed wave — and that second wave is what lets one device manage laxity, texture, pigmentation and redness together.
Its signature NA Effect works in pulsed-wave mode: instead of heating a broad area, the RF energy forms a small, independent treatment zone around the tip of each 300-micron gold-coated microneedle, acting precisely on the shallow dermis — where abnormal tiny blood vessels and a weakened basement membrane sit. That is the technical basis for using it in melasma care (addressing the vascular and basement-membrane factors) and for persistent redness and thread veins, while continuous-wave modes work on tightening, acne scars and fine lines. Needle depth adjusts from 0.3 to 4.0 mm; the finest 0.3 mm setting is designed for shallow concerns such as thread veins and sensitive skin, and even the delicate upper and lower eyelids can be treated after assessment. A linear step motor keeps needle insertion smooth, helping comfort.
Treatment itself takes about 20 minutes — roughly 45–60 minutes including numbing — and redness typically settles within 24–48 hours. A course of three to four sessions, about a month apart, is typical. It suits people whose concerns come mixed — pores and uneven texture alongside melasma or redness — especially where aggressive laser treatment needs caution.
What it can do
- Improves enlarged pores and uneven texture
- Addresses redness and visible facial thread veins
- Melasma care as part of a combined plan (vascular and basement-membrane factors)
- Firms delicate areas such as the upper and lower eyelids — after therapist assessment
Who it suits
- Enlarged pores and uneven skin texture
- Redness-prone or sensitive-looking skin
- Fine lines and early loss of firmness
- Melasma — managed as part of a combined plan that addresses its vascular and basement-membrane factors
- Visible facial thread veins (telangiectasia) and sensitive skin
- Thin, delicate skin such as the upper and lower eyelids, for eye-area firming — treated only after therapist assessment
What to expect
- Consultation and skin assessment
- Cleansing and topical numbing
- RF microneedling treatment at tailored depth and energy
- Soothing mask and recovery guidance
Good to know
- For shallow concerns such as thread veins and sensitive skin, a fine needle as shallow as 0.3 mm is used — energy stays controlled and recovery is short
- Redness and a warm sensation for 1–3 days are common
- Avoid makeup and active skincare until the skin settles
- Sun protection is essential during the recovery period
- Results vary from person to person; melasma in particular needs an ongoing management plan set at consultation
